About Tribal Balance Fitness
Tribal Balance Fitness was established by Robert Berg and Trevor Trentine with one conviction: wellness should never be one-dimensional. A strong body needs a quiet mind. A disciplined fighter needs creative expression. A healthy diet needs a healthy community.
We planted our roots at 1789 Pearl Rd in Brunswick, Ohio because this community deserves a space where martial arts, yoga, art, tattoo, and nutrition aren't separate pursuits — they're one practice, under one roof. Serving Brunswick, Medina, Strongsville, Hinckley, Wadsworth, and the surrounding Medina County area.
Under our roof, you'll find Black Tiger Academy (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), Golden Tiger Gallery (art and culture), and Rising Tiger Tattoo (private tattoo studio) — all united by the belief that balance touches every part of life.

Robert Berg
CEOCo-founder and CEO of Tribal Balance Fitness.
Trevor Trentine
Co-CEOCo-founder and Co-CEO of Tribal Balance Fitness, BJJ instructor at Black Tiger Academy, and owner of Rising Tiger Tattoo. Trevor holds a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art (2001) and has worked as a tattoo artist, illustrator, and graphic designer for over 20 years. He is also the lead vocalist and songwriter for the Cleveland punk band American Werewolves.
Daniella Calabrese
Director of OperationsDirector of Operations at Tribal Balance Fitness, resident artist at Golden Tiger Gallery, tattoo artist at Rising Tiger Tattoo, and featured artist with work displayed across the United States. Self-taught artist specializing in acrylic paintings, mosaic guitars, handcrafted gemstone jewelry, and murals. Former member of the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Native American Advisory Council (2021–2023).
